DIY: Leather Wrap Watch

Project DIY Modern Heirlooms Timeless Wrap Watch

5MM Jump Rings

10MM Jump Rings


DSC_08481. Take your cord and cut five 1′ pieces. The pieces should be long enough to wrap around your wrist.

DSC_08502. Add cord connectors to each end, and connect them to the watch with jump rings.

DSC_08543. Take the rest of the cord and cut five piece 8 inches or longer.

DSC_08514. Add connectors and connect with jumps rings to the watch.

DSC_08555. Place the watch face on your wrist. Wrap the long side around your wrist until it hits the middle of your wrist. Cut if too long.

DSC_08586. Wrap the short side until it meets the ends of the cords you just cut.

DSC_08617. Add cord connectors to each end with jump rings. On one side add the five cord ends to a jump ring and then connect it to the lobster clap.

DIY: Toast the Host Lace Candle Holders

Looking for the perfect gift for your holiday host? This DIY is the perfect last minute present that is sure to dazzle! These lace votive holders will set the cozy mood for any soiree, and they may even use them for the party as soon as they get them! DSC_0314

What You’ll Need:

 Glass Votive Holders

4” Fine Metallic Lace

Scissors

Magna-Tac glue

 Small candlesDSC_03161. Wrap your lace around the candle holder.

DSC_03182. Measure and cut.

DSC_03193. Cut one edge off of the lace trim so that the bottom is relatively flat.

DSC_03214. Add glue to your lace and gently wrap it around the votive. Place on candle holder carefully, and let it dry.

DIY: Father’s Day Bow Ties

Do you need a gift for your fashion-conscious father or husband? We have the perfect gift to send dad off with style, and the best part is that this completely customizable gift is easy to make yourself! What You’ll Need:

35mm Imported Floral Jacquard

2” Striped Grosgrain

1.5” Ombre Grosgrain

Scissors

Needle and Thread

Button Fastener

Cutting Striped Grosgrain Ribbon1. Cut 3 inches of striped grosgrain, and put it aside. You’ll be using this strip for the center of  the bow tie.

Folding Grosgrain Ribbon2. Take your longer piece of grosgrain, and fold one end of your striped grosgrain into the center of the ribbon.

Folding Ribbon into Bow3. Fold the other side over to meet the other piece.

Sewing Ribbon Into Bow4. Squeeze the center, and sew into place to secure the bow tie.

Folding Grosgrain Ribbon5. Fold your 3″ piece up horizontally, and wrap it around the center of the tie.

Measuring Grosgrain Ribbon6. Measure the bow tie around a neck, leaving an extra inch.

Sewing Snap to Bow Tie7. Fold the corner tip of the ribbon to the center, and the other corner tip to the center. Sew the male side to the tip.

Sewing Snap to Bow Tie8. Sew the female end to the back of the center of the bow tie.

1 1/4” Beaded Fringe With Satin Tape

1 3/8” Beaded Fringe On Braid

16mm Imported Double Face Satin Box Pleated

Three Small Vases

Scissors

Glue

 Gluing Beaded Trim Around Pot  1.Measure each trim around the vases.

Cutting Trim2. Cut the trim to the appropriate length.

Gluing Trim with E-60003. Glue the trim around the top rim of the vase.

Holding Trim in Place After Gluing4. Hold trim firmly in place, and let dry.
