DIY: Toast the Host Lace Candle Holders

Looking for the perfect gift for your holiday host? This DIY is the perfect last minute present that is sure to dazzle! These lace votive holders will set the cozy mood for any soiree, and they may even use them for the party as soon as they get them!

What You’ll Need:

Glass Votive Holders

4” Fine Metallic Lace

Scissors

Magna-Tac glue

Small candles1. Wrap your lace around the candle holder.

2. Measure and cut.

3. Cut one edge off of the lace trim so that the bottom is relatively flat.

4. Add glue to your lace and gently wrap it around the votive. Place on candle holder carefully, and let it dry.

When it comes to dressing for fall and winter, there’s one color combination that will stand the test of time and trends. We’re talking about a pairing of neutrals that is so classic that it can make almost any outfit instantly chic and worthy of a street-style photo. Yes, we’re talking about camel and black, an enduring combo for those days when figuring out color palettes is just too tiresome, or really any day for that matter. That’s how hot this color combo is.

Wearing all black, topped off with a camel-colored wool jacket is a popular way to rock this trend.

Why stop at two neutrals, when your can freely wear the entire spectrum? Add some cream and beige to the mix!

Whether you’re into real taxidermy, or the ever-popular deer silhouette, this trend is one that works for many different room styles. It adds a taste of the great outdoors to your decor, but can easily work in a modern room. Or you can fully commit, and make your place as rustic as a hunting lodge. The deer can also work really well in both feminine and masculine spaces. Dress it up in gold and pink, or leave it unbleached for authenticity.

Fall is finally here! Saying goodbye to summer is bittersweet, but the lazy days of summer are forgotten almost immediately when you throw socks, hoodies and pumpkin spice everything into the mix. One of our favorite aspects of the season are the warm and earthy colors, like burnt orange. This hue perfectly captures the color of the changing autumn leaves and gets us in the mood for all things fall.

Add it to your decor for a splash of color. You can go contemporary or rustic with a color like this.

This color looks incredible in an autumn wedding. Add purples or blues if you like a lot of contrast.
