DIY: Trimmed Bird House

This week’s DIY is definitely one to tweet about! Although many of us city-dwellers don’t have the opportunity to hang birdhouses in our backyards, that doesn’t mean we can’t use them at all! We used trim, paint and rosettes to flip a basic bird house into an adorable bird cottage! This bird house might not be able to withstand the elements, but would look adorable as a decorative piece. Make a few and cluster them around your living room or bedroom for an instantly shabby-chic look.
