Pantone has spoken, and the color of the year is a far cry from last year’s Radiant Orchid! This year’s winning shade is described as “a naturally robust and earthy wine red color”, and has a fitting name to boot: Marsala. This beautiful color is a cross between a cool burgundy and a warm terracotta. We can’t wait to see how designers and decorators use this color in the coming year!
We love this color paired with a light blue for an unexpected contrast.
A perfect color to use in your winter wedding palette, this rich red screams to be seen against a snowscape.
Designer, Elie Saab, is right on trend with this beautiful ombre gown.
A romantic color for dresses, we’re expecting to see this color pop up throughout the holiday season!
i have indeed been seeing this color in fashion posts and IG pictures. i think it’s a perfect color for fall. it’s colorful enough to pop but it’s also warm and rich and earthy. and i love it’s name!
I enjoyed your pictorial. Using the living room as your featured image was a brilliant choice. It, along with your narrative, grabbed me and drew me right in.
