4 Ways to Embellish Summer Shorts: Braided Belt

Sometimes the best way to accent a pair of shorts is to add an accessory to the mix! It’s also a great way to keep your favorite pair intact while also adding some interest. The best shorts accessory in our opinion is a funky belt! We used a leather and cotton braid with a pronged buckle to create a gorgeous (and easy) belt. No need to mess with leather hole punchers when working with braided trim!DSC_0287 What You’ll Need:

Colored Jean Shorts
Leather Braid
2 1/8” Rounded Square Metal Buckle
E6000
Needle and Thread
