M&J Scholarship

1. Design and submit an illustrated sketch of your own red carpet creation incorporating one of the following materials:

• Rhinestones
• Feathers
• Lace

2. Along with a physical copy of your sketch, you must provide a typed essay of up to 500 words outlining your interest in fashion, discussing your design and any other details relevant to your entry.

*You do not need to make a purchase, you must simply incorporate these elements in your illustration.

• A copy of your transcript from your last year of study
• A cover letter with your name, email address, phone number and mailing adress
• A copy of your college acceptance letter, if a high school senior

• This scholarship is only open to undergraduate students or high school students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Applicants must be 18 years of age to qualify for the scholarship
• Enrolled at an accredited high school, college or university in the U.S.
• Be of "good standing" (i.e. currently enrolled)

1. Entries, including the essay, must be mailed in as a physical copy. If you use digital media to create your illustration then it must be a print out. We will not accept fax or email applications.
2. All entries must be original work done by the applicant. Plagarism will result in immetdiate disqualification.
3. You need not be enrolled in a Fashion Program to qualify.
4. Please keep a digital copy of your entry. Winners will have the digital version of their sketch promoted on the M&J Trimming website and social channels.
5. The submission deadline is May 25th, 2018.
