Some of the most iconic fashion houses show in Milan, and it’s always a treat when Fashion Month makes its way over to Italy for that reason. This season was no exception as some of our favorite designers showed us, once again, why Milan is one of the Meccas of fashion.
Gucci embraced an androgynous aesthetic that we don’t normally associate with Italian designers. With cuts that strayed from the norm, Gucci seems to be going for a look that is less sexy and more subdued.
Dolce and Gabbana brought in the good maternal vibes with a focus on family, specifically the tie between mother and child. Young babes held hands with model mothers along the runway for a show that definitely pulled at the heartstrings.
Missoni channeled interior design with this collection, specifically with a heavy use of marbleized prints.
Moschino is not a fashion house to shy away from pop culture. This season’s collection featured some of our favorite Looney Tunes in primary prints that are certain to bring back the nostalgia of the 1990s.
Inspired by technology and communication, the pieces at Versace were busy and bright and filled with their iconic Greek Key pattern and the new circular emoji for a collection that was #current.
