Color Story: Celosia Orange

With all of the hype around Pantone’s Color of the Year, Radiant Orchid, you’d think that would be the only color on everyone’s minds. Not so! Pantone recently released the spring color trends for 2014, and Celosia Orange was a popular choice that we’re seeing all over the runways in inside the most fashionable homes.
Celosia FlowerThe name comes from the vibrant celosia flower. This beautiful bloom comes in a range of bright colors and has a slightly fuzzy texture.

  1. A close, comfortable shave at leisurely pace; to introduce you calmly to the new day instead of grabbing
    you by the scruff of the neck and hurling you bodily into it.
    Because it clumps, it is considered poor style blade not to do so.
    Waxing hair can be unsightly, irritating, painful, and even present
    a possibility of infection.

I’ve been using Celosia in my LR for a while to offset the neutral walls- works fantastic without being too funky – Martha Stewart Home Office has beautiful accessories (binders etc) in a ‘teal-ish’ color that goes beautifully with Celosia. Ikea had storage products (magazine holders and pretty organizing boxes of different sizes) in Celosia, but they’re hard to find in that color now.
