Library Inspiration

We don’t know about you, but to us libraries and books have an elegant charm that Kindles just can’t touch. (No offense.) Curling up in a corner with a good book is the ultimate stay-at-home activity for a chilly winter night, and having a beautiful library to hide away in is even better! Check out our library inspiration that will make you feel smarter and more stylish just by looking at it.

Jenny Komenda Styles Tribeca Library

We love the eclectic mix of modern and vintage in this library/work space. And those arched shelves are amazing!
Stacked Books from Top Design MagSometimes chaos can be totally called for. A stack of books can easily become a tiny table for a cup of tea or coffee!

Rainbow Library from Top Design Mag

Does anyone remember Reading Rainbow? Well check out this literal iteration! Books organized by color look so cool, and we don’t want this trend dying out any time soon. Your plethora of books can easily become a work of art!

Bold Fuchsia Library from Belle Maison 23There’s nothing like a bold pop of color to really brighten a room. This fuchsia bookshelf would get anyone excited to read!

Which of these libraries would you love you read in, and what books do you think would feel most at home in these varied spaces? Let us know in the comments below, and send us a pic of YOUR library to @mjtrimming!

  1. Love this post! No matter what technology comes up with, nothing can beat the feel of a book in your hands and the smell of the pages. Libraries are my absolute favorite rooms to look at and dream about and all of these are swoonworthy.
