Our Favorite Looks from Paris Haute Couture Week 2014

Fashion month is one of our favorite times of the year, but Haute Couture Week holds a particularly special place in our hearts. Why? Well, the fashions are more elaborate, extravagant and outrageous! This year we were definitely not at a loss for favorite looks because the designers really brought their talent to another level.

Couture Week was kicked off by Atelier Versace! Inspired by Grace Jones, many of the dresses featured silky draped hoods, flowing fabrics, and intricate crystal embellishments.

The Elie Saab show had our hearts aflutter. Inspired by artist, Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema, this collection was as light and floral as a painting. Pastels and small botanical embellishments reigned supreme, and each look bloomed with detail.

The Giambattista Valli Haute Couture show pumped up the volume, literally. The looks were flouncy, sculpted, and reminiscent of big candy-colored bows.
