If you’re only highlighting one side, cut the strip from one end to the other.
If you want to have fringe on the front and backside, wrap the trim around the sleeve.
Cut the trim at the desired location.
Continue doing this until you have completed your entire sleeve.
This will allow you to lay our the 50MM Chainette Fringe with chain trim in the desired location.
Using E-6000, glue the trim down on each tier.
That looks badass! Is E-6000 special fabric-on-fabric glue or something?
E-6000 is not necessarily a fabric glue however it is one of the strongest glues on the market. We prefer using it when dealing with a heavier material.
Ah ok. Good tip! I’ll look out for it, thanks.
Very cute. I wish you could find ways to diva up all my boring clothes.
It’s great that I found your article about making your own chainette fringe sweater. My sister has been bugging me to help her find a supplier of chainette fringe for her home business. Since I had no idea what is a chainette fringe is, I went online and did some research. Now I know what it looks like. Thanks!
