DIY Fringe Earrings & Necklace

This faux-leather fringe comes in gorgeous shade of bright pink that is perfect for summer accessories. Check out the different ways you can use a yard to make fun fringed jewelry.
Tools and Materials for Earrings:
Jump rings
Cut a piece of trim about an inch long.

Place trim in ribbon crimp, and close crimp shut with the pliers.

Open up a jump ring with your pliers.
Loop jump ring through the ribbon crimp, and add an earring hook.
Close the jump ring.
Trim down the fringe to make a point.
Repeat to make a second earring.
Tools and Materials for Necklace:
32 inches of 3mm chain
8 jump rings
Clasp
Pliers
Cut the leather into 3 2-inch pieces.
Trim the leather, making a point.
Repeat with the other 2 pieces of fringe.
Open up two jump rings with the pliers, and loop through the corners of the fringe.
Attach the jump rings to each end of the chain.
Add jump rings to the second piece of fringe, and attach to the chain, above the first piece.
Repeat to create a third tier of fringe. Add clasp to the back of the necklace.

    something which I think I would never understand.
