M&J Challenge 2

We are so excited to announce that M&J Challenge 2 is here! Last year was a great success and we loved what each blogger made so much that we decided to do another challenge with New Bloggers!  Next week on Wednesday, June 29th we will show you what each blogger made with the Mystery Box of Trims! But until then Meet the Bloggers!

I founded Dismount Creative after moving to Houston from Chicago in 2010. In an effort to make new friends and do something more creative I started teaching DIY craft classes over cocktails in area bars and restaurants. Dismount Creative is now as a place for people to step out of their day-to-day routine and get together to make cool, modern crafts. When I’m not teaching I post my fashion and style DIY projects, inspirations and other musings twice a day to the Dismount Creative blog

My name is Beverly from Flamingo Toes and I am a SoCal girl who loves to create! I spend my spare time (and some of my not-spare time) in sewing, embroidery, home décor, jewelry making, and blogging about my creations and adventures.

Kristen Turner has a taste for life’s glittery things, but a bank account that can’t support it. Glitter ‘N Glue is dedicated to every fashion forward girl with champagne dreams living on a beer budget. Every week Kristen show’s her readers the latest in celebrity fashion trends and how they can DIY the look for less.

Jill from Homemade by Jill is a self-taught sewist with a passion for creating handmade items for her two children, friends, family, and home.  She loves fabric, staying up too late sewing, peanut butter and chocolate, and singing in the car.

Alexis, from Made by Lex, began sewing about 6 years ago. As her passion grew she began a blog designated to showing people new, fun ways to sew. She now has her own label, Lex Designs, and sells many of her original pieces.

Here’s a Sneek Peak of what we sent!
