On the cover of December’s Glamour Magazine, wearing  a Fenton necklace by Dana Lorenz,  which features M&J Trimming hand dyed silk ribbon, Michelle Obama is recognized as the Woman of the Year for 2009. She’s nominated for her fashion, status as a role-model, her intellect, and title as the first ever African-American First Lady.  In her interview, Michelle Obama shares her passions, struggles, and enjoyment to Glamour readers who look up to her.

Michelle Obama is not only the first African American First Lady; she is a woman on top, political player, mentor, wife, devoted mother, activist, and now a glamorous style icon. Nevertheless, Michelle Obama manages to focus on her passions in life.  Such as,  her development of improving better health care for woman, planting the White House Vegetable Garden to help with childhood health, nutrition and obesity, and gathering women around the administration to work as mentors to girls in need.

And yet, Michelle Obama still finds the time to look amazing at every function she attends, whether it be day or night, her everyday wardrobe is classy and chic. On the cover of Glamour magazine, an honor well deserved, she sports her own dress and a custom made necklace by Dana Lorenz, which features hand dyed silk ribbons  by your very own, M&J Trimming.
